Georgina Gray
Georgina is of English and Chinese descent and has spent most of her life in Singapore. A diploma holder of LaSalle College of the Arts and a graduate of RMIT University, she worked as an advertising copywriter for over twelve years before deciding to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an artist.
Inspired by travel and wildlife, Georgina’s paintings have a distinctive carefree holiday feel. They often feature animals being comically human-like or abstract landscapes in mad-happy colors. Her style is naïve and she works primarily with acrylics on canvas.
She is also part of a family art collective called The Wongky Three, where she and her two young sons collaborate on the same canvas to create works of art that capture their wild imagination and her artistic vision of not taking life too seriously.
