Gestures + Geometry @ TWC
Patterns of Thought Across Two Modes of Abstraction
9 January – 3 April 2026
The Working Capitol, 1 Keong Saik Road
Gesture + Geometry looks at how ideas take shape in different ways, through free expression and through careful structure. Bringing together the works of Jyotsna S Kumar and Leo Poloniecki, the exhibition presents two distinct but complementary approaches to abstraction, offering different ways of seeing, thinking and creating.
Jyotsna's artworks on display in the main workspace on Level 2 are inspired by the colours and beauty of everyday moments while Leo's series, titled 'Andy's Shoes' is inspired by the artist’s early memory of Andy Warhol’s shoe drawings.
Presented by Fiidaa Art in collaboration with The Working Capitol, the exhibition is set within TWC’s heritage shophouse at 1 Keong Saik Road. Placed throughout their shared working spaces, the artworks reflect the rhythm of everyday life at TWC where ideas move between exploration and focus, and creativity grows through both openness and intention.
Walk-ins are welcome, and visitors viewing the exhibition will receive a complimentary day pass to experience TWC as a working space.
