“Influenced by my background in Mathematics and Computer Science, my art and design often incorporates mathematical algorithms, as well as typography and architectural references. I’m fascinated by the perimeters that shapes are created from as well as pattern generation that results in elements being expanded or manipulated, creating complex systems. Most of my work has an underlying formal structure but still maintain a sense of organic fluidity.” - Lian
