Rajul Shah @ Dentalis

Rajul Shah brings together a selection of richly layered abstract works that explore colour, texture and the intuitive process of making.

Based between Singapore and the United States, Rajul works across mixed media, building her compositions through layers of paint, paper and tactile materials. Her process is instinctive, allowing each layer to respond to what came before it. Influenced by ideas of transformation and the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, her works often embrace irregularity, visible traces and subtle shifts in surface.

Set within the light-filled spaces of Dentalis, the exhibition moves between vibrant colour and quieter tonal compositions. Viewed up close, details of texture, layering and mark-making emerge, inviting a slower encounter with each work.
