Stanko Ropic
Born in 1962 in Slovenia, Stanko Ropic moved to Southern Germany at 7 years of age.
He studied art in the Free Art School in Stuttgart and is currently a lecturer. He is inspired by the study of "Goethe: Color Theory" and the art work of abstract expressionism of the sixties. Stanko gives us a sense of the picturesque in the infinite nuances and action fields of his paintings.
His new series in photography approaches nature in its mystical form. Stanko creates visually stunning prints on canvas by rendering a magical and mystical interpretation of reality.
His work has been widely exhibited in Europe since 1991 in both solo and group shows.
