Tatjana Labossière

Tatjana Labossière

Tatjana Labossière is a German-born artist based in Paris, where she has lived and worked for many years. Her studio, an iconic Parisian space from the early 1900s, provides the ideal setting with its natural light, creating an inspiring atmosphere for her creative practice. Tatjana graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Versailles, specializing in sculpture. During her studies, she also trained in printmaking techniques, which she has since developed into a distinct and personal form of expression.

Her work is deeply influenced by a close connection to nature. Tatjana’s creative process often begins with collecting stones in the mountains or drawing inspiration from the forms of trees and plants, nurturing an ongoing dialogue with the natural world. Her sculptures are primarily crafted from wood and stone, though she also works in steel—showing her commitment to handcrafting each piece. In printmaking, her monotypes take on a sculptural quality, with material and volume perceptible on the paper, capturing the essence of nature in a tangible form.

Tatjana regularly participates in exhibitions and frequently opens her studio to visitors, offering them an immersive experience of her art. Her works are now held in private collections around the world.
