Irina Forrester is a Singapore-based painter whose work explores the quiet beauty of everyday life through still lifes, landscapes and portraiture. Born in Russia and formally trained at art school there, she later lived in the United Kingdom before settling in Singapore in 2017. Working primarily in oil, Forrester is drawn to the medium's versatility and expressive potential. While much of her work remains representational, her recent practice seeks a more refined balance between abstraction and observation. Her subjects range from still lifes and landscapes to portraiture and life drawing, reflecting an enduring interest in the world around her. Forrester exhibits regularly in Singapore and internationally, and her works are held in private collections across the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Europe, Russia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
